We believe that every community needs a time and place to come together.
This is especially true during challenging days. What better way to do this than with warm food around tables in friendship, laughter and connectedness. Each week we invite our neighbors to our table, of all ages, ethnicities, and lifestyles. This is a chance to gather in community with the rich mosaic-like diversity that the Magnuson community has and that Seattle is known for. We are on a mission to bring lift to Seattle neighborhoods by gathering around weekly dinner tables, talking about inspiring topics, building low income housing, and helping people back to a meaningful and sustainable life. |
From the beginning |
OUR TWO HOPES |
The Magnuson Park Community Dinner Church is modeled after the ancient Agape Feasts of the 1st century. Dinner Churches were the way the followers of Jesus functioned for the first 200 years of Christian history, especially in the larger cities of the day much like Seattle.

We have two hopes for this community dinner. First, we want to build friendships & community over a table with warm food & laughter. Second, we take time to encourage the soul by retelling a short story about Christ & offering prayer for those who want to stay.
